Job summary

Stinger Bridge & Iron is seeking Ironworkers to establish and install steel or iron frames for building and other structures at our Coolidge, Arizona facility. The role focuses on constructing and erecting steel framing for bridge and structural projects across the Southwest.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably completed an apprenticeship or field experience; the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and lift 75 pounds is required.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions
• Unload and stack prefabricated iron and steel so that it can be lifted with slings
• Signal crane operators who lift and position structural and reinforcing iron and steel
• Use shears, rod‑bending machines, torches, hand tools, and welding equipment to cut, bend, and weld the structural and reinforcing iron and steel
• Align structural and reinforcing iron and steel vertically and horizontally, using tag lines, plumb bobs, lasers, and levels
• Connect iron and steel with bolts, wire, or welds
• Install metal decking

• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions
• Unload and stack prefabricated iron and steel so that it can be lifted with slings
• Signal crane operators who lift and position structural and reinforcing iron and steel
• Use shears, rod‑bending machines, torches, hand tools, and welding equipment to cut, bend, and weld the structural and reinforcing iron and steel
