Job Summary

As a key member of our construction crew, you'll play a vital role in preparing and constructing structural members to receive and support their intended load. If you're a motivated and skilled ironworker seeking a new challenge, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and construct structural members to support their load
• Handle tools, equipment, and materials at the worksite
• Follow all safety procedures and policies
• Supervise and train Structural Ironworker Helpers
• Set up hoisting equipment for steel installation
• Install members into final position using appropriate tools
• Align holes and verify the positioning of members
• Assist in lifting and securing materials during installation

Physical Demands

• Climbing ladders up to 150’
• Crouching, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and overhead work
• Walking on even and uneven surfaces up to 500’
• Grip strength of 60#

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an Ironworker Journeyman - Structural or equivalent
• Knowledge of steel fabrication, erection, and welding
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Proficiency in OSHA safety regulations
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
