Qualifications

• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, fit-for-duty medical, and background check
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as required

Responsibilities

• Learn to read specs or blueprints to determine materials needed
• Assist skilled craftsman to fabricate metal parts per blueprints
• Assist with unloading and positioning prefabricated steel units for hoisting
• Learn to verify alignment of structural steel members using plumb bobs, lasers, or levels
• Cuts, bends, or welds steel pieces using shears, torches, or welding equipment
• Assemble hoisting equipment or riggings to move heavy equipment or materials
