Cajun Industries, LLC in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is seeking an Iron Worker Foreman to supervise and coordinate Ironworkers effectively. This role requires knowledge of welding, rigging, and safety practices while working in a construction or plant operations setting.
The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality work and compliance with safety regulations, manage team dynamics, and effectively use tools and equipment necessary for tasks. Physical endurance and strong leadership skills are essential.
The Iron Worker Foreman will supervise and coordinate the activity of Ironworkers to ensure that work is done safely, correctly and timely. Must have knowledge of basic welding, rigging, and flame cutting. Must possess ability to use pneumatic tools, have knowledge of safe loads and wire rope basics, be familiar with basic hand signals, and have experience with sizing of chokers. Will need to have knowledge of layout (figure formulas) and the magnetic drill. Safety knowledge while working at heights is essential. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. Will be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting.
