Start ASAP. Hourly rate ranges from $28 to $30 with a $100 per diem, and typical hours are 4/10s through mid-October. The position is full-time and on-site, offering benefits and opportunities for hands-on steel construction work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install and connect structural steel components such as beams, columns, and girders.
• Align and connect structural steel from boom lifts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Align and position steel structures using cranes, rigging, and hand tools.
• Bolt, weld, and secure steel components into place.
• Install reinforcing steel for concrete structures as required.
• Inspect connections and ensure structural stability and compliance.
• Follow all safety procedures, especially when working at heights.
