Thompson Construction Group, Inc. seeks a skilled structural steel helper to join our field crew.
You will set up hoisting equipment, connect girders, align and bolt members, and assist in welding as needed, performing tasks safely and efficiently on job sites. Candidates should have at least 3 years of field experience, the required hand tools list, be able to lift 50 pounds, work up to heights, and pass background checks and drug screening.

Assists in performing any combination of the following duties: raise, place, and connect girders, columns, and other structural steel members to form completed structures or structure frameworks according to the layouts or blueprints while working as a crewmember. These duties must be performed in a safe and timely manner with the highest quality possible.
