Job summary

The King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel is seeking a Cook 2 to support IRONMAN World Championship operations October 1–14, 2026. This full-time temporary role will prepare hot and cold items according to our recipes and standards, onsite in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

Responsibilities include maintaining a friendly service, communicating with guests and team members, and assisting in supervising junior cooks. Prior hotel or restaurant cooking experience is required, with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to three years of hotel culinary or restaurant cooking experience.
• High school or equivalent education.
• TB clearance card required.
• English speaking or bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold items per recipes and specifications.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor with guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Assist in supervising junior cooks and training.
