Job summary

Quebec Linge Co. is seeking a team member for a night? day shift in our Canton, NC industrial laundry facility. You will safely and efficiently handle towels, napkins, table linens, and aprons, feeding items to the ironer and folding finished merchandise.

Responsibilities include quality checks, quantity verification, cart handling, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Overtime and weekend work may be required; HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Understand all required training, written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.
• Shift schedule, may include weekends.
• Overtime required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stages and feeds merchandise on ironer properly to reduce wrinkling and tangling.
• Receives and folds merchandise from ironer.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, stains).
• Verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type; places bundles in correct storage carts.
• Maneuvers full and empty carts.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and follows best practices in production.
• Other duties as assigned.
