Position: Iron Worker / Steel Erector

Location: Portland Metro Area

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime

What You’ll Do

As an Iron Worker / Steel Erector, you will:

• Erect structural steel: Install beams, columns, and other steel frameworks
• Place and secure reinforcing steel in concrete structures
• Weld and fabricate components according to specs and blueprints
• Use rigging tools, cranes, and lifts to position and secure steel
• Work safely and efficiently on active construction job sites

What You Need to Have

• Experience in iron work or steel erection
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions
• Reliable transportation to various job sites in the Portland area
• Awareness of and commitment to job site safety

• Dependable and punctual
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and working at elevation
• Able to follow direction and meet production deadlines
  
  

Preferred

• AWS welding certifications
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification
• Signal or rigging credentials
• First Aid/CPR certified
• Ornamental or architectural steel experience
