Job summary

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist delivery trucks, load and unload products.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts (will train).
• Perform picking, packing, sorting, shipping, and receiving duties.
• Ensure products are inspected and prepared for handling and delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow procedures.

In this position, you will perform various warehouse activities, including picking, packing, sawing, punching, sorting, shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading steel products. Keen attention to detail is a must. Room for growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome delivery trucks and safely load/unload products
• Ability to handle heavy materials
• Inspect and prepare incoming/outgoing products for damage
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move products to appropriate places (Will Train)
• Wrap and unwrap stock from bundes
• Tag and label products according to shape, size, type, etc.
• Follow organizational standards - ensure your environment is safe for you and others
• Comply with regulations and procedures to align with quality service standards
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with your supervisors and teammates
• Properly use and maintain warehouse equipment (Will Train)
