Job summary

Champion Metal Works in Escondido, CA is seeking an ironworker to assist with jobsite preparation, welding, and fabrication across California projects. You will work under the Field Foreman, travel for assignments up to two weeks, and contribute to safe, quality steel erection and installation.

The role requires 3-5 years ironworker experience, AWS D1.1/232 certification, ability to read drawings, lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of ironworker experience.
• AWS D1.1/232 Structural Welding Certification.
• Experience with structural steel erection, installation, and fabrication.
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including standing, climbing, bending, and working at heights.

Travel Requirement: This position requires extensive travel and an on-site presence throughout the duration of assigned projects.
