Job summary

NexTier Completion Solutions Inc. seeks a field-ready Iron Tech to support operations in Midland, TX. You will review daily reports, manage field equipment, and lead shift activities, ensuring safety and quality across shop, yard, and field tasks.

You will handle paperwork, monitor equipment test dates, and assist with maintenance, while driving light-duty vehicles as needed. This role requires on-call availability and strong HSE knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1 year Iron Tech experience required.
• Proficient MS Excel and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and distribute daily reports, check sheets, and work orders.
• Lead shift and oversee shop, yard, and field work.

• Prepare shipment paperwork and track monoline equipment.
• Drive light-duty company vehicles as directed.

Job description

This posting is for Iron Field Technicians supporting NexTier Frac Operations out of Midland, TX

Essential Functions

• Regularly review, complete and/or distribute daily reports, equipment check sheets, and work orders.
• Shift leader
• Oversee work done in the shop/yard/field.
• Ensures quality work
• Adheres to all Policies, work procedures, Safety, etc.
• Maintain an orderly and clean facility in compliance with state and federal regulations, and also assist in servicing cement heads and equipment.
• Complete all paperwork associated with job responsibilities.
• Responsible for the safety of other employees and the prevention of damage to operating equipment
• Clean and maintain high pressure monoline equipment as per company Services Standards.
• Track the movement of the monoline equipment on the computer system and prepare the proper paperwork for shipment and tracking.
• Must keep track of the test dates for inspection on monoline equipment.
• Performs various general and facility maintenance repairs.
• Perform all job duties assigned.
• Drive company light-duty vehicles and transport equipment to and from location as directed.
