Summary Of Role

Responsible, in conjunction with the immediate supervisor, for shift output, quality, and yield in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure all produced product conforms to the approved specification.
  2. Book in and document all materials required for the batch accurately, conforming to packaging instructions & batch packaging records.
  3. Carry out sampling tests and visual inspections at required frequencies.
  4. Liaise with QA for support in area/line clearances and quality issues during production.
  5. Approve area/line clearances and pre-production samples as per procedures.
  6. Collect QC samples as per batch packaging records.
  7. Adhere to operating, quality, machine cleaning, and safety procedures.
  8. Report deviations to the supervisor.
  9. Monitor yields and take corrective actions promptly.
  10. Address machine downtime efficiently.
  11. Achieve training and competency goals.
  12. Complete batch packaging records accurately and timely.
  13. Record quantities of good and rejects accurately.
  14. Maintain housekeeping standards and keep logs updated.
  15. Work positively with team members and ensure safety practices.
  16. Be flexible to shift pattern changes.
  17. Assist in technical projects as required.
Essential Knowledge / Skills & Experience
  • Ability to meet goals, communicate clearly, and ensure progress.
  • Fluent in English.
