Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with one year of IRB-related experience.
• Certification as an IRB professional preferred.
• Knowledge of federal/state regulations for human subjects research.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meeting agendas in consultation with IRB Chair/Vice-Chair and assigns protocols to IRB members.
• Attends convened IRB meetings and maintains thorough notes of discussions.
• Prepares complete and accurate minutes and summaries of actions and controversial issues.
• Maintains IRB minutes, rosters, files and regulatory documents per policies.
• Triages IRB submissions to determine need for full board review or expedited procedures.
• Collaborates with researchers and staff to resolve issues related to IRB reviews.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
