Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia seeks an IR Technologist for per diem shifts to operate interventional radiography equipment under a radiologist. You will perform vascular angiographic procedures, biopsies, catheter insertions and related tasks while safeguarding patient and staff safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification requirement or valid ARRT in Radiology Technology.
• Two years as an interventional radiographer in a hospital preferred.
• Experience with interventional procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate interventional radiographic equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Perform vascular non-cardiac angiography, drainage, biopsies, catheter insertions and related procedures.
• Maintain patient and equipment safety during contrast delivery and imaging.
• Test equipment and ensure synchronization of injectors and selectors.
• Mentor junior IR technologists or trainees as needed.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain cleanliness of the imaging suite.
