Performs advanced neurointerventional procedures as well as interventional radiology patient care activities and procedures for patients. Collaborate with neurointerventional and other healthcare professionals in performing various complex neurointerventional procedures, including but not limited to aneurysm coiling, arteriovenous malformation (AVM) embolization, carotid artery stenting, intracranial stenting, and intracranial thrombectomy. Provides patient care to all invasive procedure's patients, including acquisition and radiographic care for the purpose of diagnostic and/or treatment of anatomic and physiological disorders related to their procedure. Assists with implantation of stents, coils, glue, radioactive isotopes, central lines and biopsies. Provides didactic and clinical training of new employees and students.
