Job summary

The ideal candidate should possess a graduate degree from an ARRT program and have experience in a hospital setting. Competitive salary range is from $38.02 to $54.17 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program or current validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R).
• Two years as an interventional radiographer in a hospital environment preferred.
• Advanced ARRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates interventional radiographic equipment for diagnostic procedures.
• Performs interventional procedures under the direction of the physician.
• Maintains critical positioning of the patient during procedures.
• Tests equipment functionality before examinations.
• Provides protection in accordance with radiation safety standards.

Skills

Knowledge of needles and catheters

Education
