Applicants should have a high school diploma and graduate from an AMA approved radiologic technology program, with two years of relevant experience preferred. IR TECHNOLOGIST II - ( 252742 )
Primary function is to deliver high quality patient care while producing diagnostic radiographs, and performing and/or assisting physicians in interventional/invasive procedures. Maintains records, films and paperwork. Prepares, maintains and operates radiologic and special procedure equipment in a safe and responsible manner, following appropriate radiation safety guidelines.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Non Degree Program : Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program. (Required)
Experience
2 Years experience as a dedicated VIR Technologist in an interventional radiology department (Required)
License/Certifications
RT(R) - Reg Technologist (R) (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
RT(VI) - Reg Technologist (VI) (Preferred)
RT(CV) - Reg Technologist (CV) (Preferred)
