Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking an IR Tech for a PRN position to perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, post-processing, and patient care. The role requires graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT-accredited program, with mandatory ARRT/ARDMS registration upon hire and BCLS certification.

• No experience required.
• ARRT or ARDMS radiographer registration (R) upon hire; RCIS upon hire; BCLS upon hire; Advanced ARRT VI/CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, and modality-assisted drainage and biopsies; completes all post-processing and related record keeping and patient care functions.

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
