Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to operate imaging equipment and assist radiologists in minimally invasive vascular procedures. The role includes preparing patients, reviewing histories, and maintaining sterile technique.

The candidate should hold ARRT certification, be ACLS certified, and enjoy collaborative work within a hospital setting in Springfield, MA. Minimum education is a radiology certificate, with preferred experience of 1 year in IR tech.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved radiology program.
• Preferred: 1 year as an Interventional Radiology Tech.
• ARRT Registered and follows state/organization requirements.
• ACLS and Baystate Dysrhythmia course completed.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to obtain fluoroscopic images per Radiologist specifications.
• Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures.
• Review medical history, prepare patient and site, and monitor patient condition.
• Provide professional, quality care following hospital policies and procedures.
