Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital seeks a registered nurse to join the Interventional Radiology team. You will manage patients across the continuum of care, perform assessments, provide procedural care, and support anesthesia recovery in a fast-paced, image-guided environment.

The role features 30 hours per week on a Monday–Friday schedule with 10-hour shifts, on-call rotations, and eligibility for comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• 3–4 years of critical care, radiology, ED, peri-operative, procedural or inpatient experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience and PALS certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent critical thinking and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients in Interventional Radiology throughout the continuum of care.
• Perform patient assessments, procedural care, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Support IR procedures such as angiography, sclerotherapy, embolization, biopsy, and vascular access.
• Work 10-hour day and evening shifts, 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday.
• On-call rotations at nights/weekends/holidays; be able to report within 45 minutes when on call.
• Eligible for full-time benefits.
