Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Interventional Radiology team. The role involves patient assessment, procedural care, and recovery from anesthesia within a high‑reliability, minimally invasive environment leveraging imaging guidance.

Responsibilities include managing PICCs, angiography and related procedures, with a 10‑hour shift schedule (30 hours/week) Monday–Friday and on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• 3–4 years of Critical Care, Radiology, ED, peri-operative, or inpatient experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment, procedural care, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Support IR procedures including angiography, biopsies, and access.
• Coordinate care in a 10-hour shift schedule, with on-call rotations.
• Respond to on-call emergencies within 45 minutes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality.
