Job summary

GE Vernova seeks an experienced NDT Technician to inspect bond lines and laminates using infrared equipment and reporting software to verify proper bonding curing. You will manage Metronor systems, maintain tools, and report IL’s while coordinating with Quality leadership.

You will audit processes, participate in internal/external audits, and work with QE/PE on quality issues. Strong communication and self-direction are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a certified NDT Technician credential.
• Proficiency with basic software including Excel.
• Ability to follow WI/CI procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work with multiple teams and communicate with management and engineering.
• Internal IR certification required.
• Self-directed with disciplined task completion.
• Vision requirements per NDT practice (annual checks).

Responsibilities

• Audit, analyze, assist, advise and assure as part of the 5 A’s.
• Operate and maintain NDT infrared equipment and Metronor system.
• Collect and report IL’s; communicate issues to Quality leadership.
• Collaborate with QE/PE on quality-related issues.
• Participate in internal/external audits of the NDT process.
• Assist with gage studies or other NDT projects.
• Complete training and update training materials as needed.
