LifeSciAdvisors, the leading healthcare-focused investor relations firm in the U.S., is seeking a Director, Investor Relations Communications to lead and execute sophisticated communications and IR programs for public and pre-commercial biotechnology and medical technology companies. This is a senior, client-facing role for a strategic communications professional with deep experience at the intersection of capital markets, corporate storytelling, and the life sciences.The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to senior management teams, owning core components of IR communications strategy while overseeing high-quality execution across multiple client accounts.
Lead and oversee the full press release lifecycle across client accounts, setting strategy, ensuring message alignment, and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and quality.
Serve as the senior communications owner for corporate, regulatory, clinical, and earnings-related announcements, including final review and accountability for all external postings—particularly during earnings season.
Act as a day-to-day senior clientleadon IR communications programs,providingproactive guidance,anticipatingclient needs, and ensuring seamless delivery across all milestones.
Partner closely with internal teams to align communications strategy with broader investorrelations objectivesand capitalmarketspositioning.
Lead quarterly earnings processes, including conference call planning, executive script development, earnings releases, and Q&A preparation; provide senior-level counsel to management teams throughout.
Advise onthe development and execution of long-term investor relations and communications strategies, including milestone planning for clinical data releases, financings, and corporate updates.
Maintain exceptional client service standards, modeling professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability while mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Oversee multiple concurrent projects with complex timelines, balancing speed with rigorous attention to detail, accuracy, and message integrity.
Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree in life sciences, finance, communications, ora relatedfield.
7+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, healthcare communications, equity research, life sciences consulting, or a related field, withdemonstratedprogression into senior or leadership roles.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex scientific and financial concepts for investor audiences.
Strong understanding of capital markets, investor expectations, and earnings-related disclosure requirements.
Proven ability to manage client relationships independently andoperateas a strategic advisor to senior executives.
Advancedproficiencyin PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
$150,000 - $200,000 a year
Base Salary Listed, plus Annual Discretionary Performance Bonus
