Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Summary


Perform high-quality radiological procedures in a combo lab, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and cardiovascular procedures. Work independently with judgment, ingenuity, and initiative, ensuring safety and timeliness as ordered by physicians and in accordance with regulations and standards. Responsible for quality control, maintenance of department equipment, and assisting with surgical procedures. Enter data using hospital software. Coverage at various locations may be required.


  1. Utilize evidence-based clinical knowledge to assist physicians with diagnoses and treatment plans, including setup and operation of diagnostic and treatment devices, and act as scrub assistant in the cardiovascular suite.
  2. Verify patient identity, review orders and history, transport and position patients safely, perform IR/Special procedures, monitor patient safety and comfort, administer contrast materials, and respond to contrast reactions. Obtain and evaluate images for quality assurance using RIS, PACS, and other systems.
  3. Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to monitor performance, maintain supplies, and coordinate workflow. Maintain equipment, perform quality control tests, contact service for repairs, and participate in staff training. Rotate through departments as needed.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a clean, safe environment. Manage stock and inventory.
  5. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited NLN/CCNE or ARRT Vocational/Specialized Training.

Experience: 10 months Radiologic Technology experience required.

Licenses and Certifications: ARRT Radiology Tech License, AZ Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), and BLS healthcare provider certification are required.
