Job Description:

Our RN Clinical Educators have a unique opportunity to utilize their clinical nursing expertise outside of direct patient care. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for patient well-being through medical device technology. Your primary responsibility will be training and educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on a new medical device used mainly in Infusion, Vascular Access, and Critical Care units.

  • Your focus will be on in-service education only; this role involves no sales responsibilities and no bedside care.
  • We seek individuals interested in expanding their skills in clinical education.
  • This is a per-diem position requiring travel and flexibility to work with your current schedule.
  • A minimum availability of 2 weeks per month is required.
  • Travel regionally and nationally to support customer needs.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide peer-to-peer education and in-service training to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff for medical device implementation.
  2. Assess customer-specific educational needs and collaborate to deliver effective training.
  3. Use clinical nursing expertise to address questions and concerns about the medical device.
  4. Provide updates, reports, and feedback to clients during and after in-service sessions.
Job Requirements:
  • RN Degree — Associates required, Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Active and Unrestricted RN license.
  • Infusion or Vascular Access experience of at least 3-5 years.
  • Critical Care unit experience of at least 2 years is preferred.
  • Leadership experience (e.g., manager, educator, preceptor) is helpful but not required.
  • Comfortable with basic software programs.
  • Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally.

The potential base pay for this role is $38 per hour, which may vary based on qualifications, location, and schedule. Additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits may be offered.
