Job Summary

Perform IQC inspections to ensure incoming materials meet work instructions, specifications, and customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read drawings and interpret special instructions for incoming material inspection.
• Use inspection equipment to verify material compliance.
• Complete inspections and report results to IQC Technician and/or SQE.
• Follow instructions and specifications strictly during inspections.
• Perform First Article Inspections and collect data for reporting.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in proper working order and up-to-date.
• Support IQC inspectors in verifying suspect incoming materials.
• Create and release Quality Notifications in SAP as needed.
• Contribute to 5S initiatives in the area.
• Record inspection results accurately in SAP.
• Escalate issues and trends to leadership.
• Train new IQC inspectors on new methods or equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements

• Effective communication skills with managers, clients, and the public.
• Problem-solving and data analysis abilities.
• Proficiency with Windows and related software.
• Basic PC skills and familiarity with Jabil’s software.
• IPC-A-600 certification preferred.
• Ability to write simple reports and understand visual aids.
• Ability to follow instructions and apply common sense.
• Basic math skills, including reading graphs and calculating ratios.
