Job summary

Abbott in Westfield, Indiana is seeking an IQA Inspector to join the Structural Heart division on the 2nd shift.

You will inspect incoming components, materials, IFUs, packaging and labeling, and maintain documentation per SOPs and GMP to ensure product quality.

This role collaborates with engineers on new product development and non-conformances, with a base pay of $15.80–$31.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' experience working in inspection, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform and process first article inspections as directed by IQA Lead.
• Correlate supplier’s first article inspection report with AVI first article inspection results.
• Inspect incoming production components.
• Maintain inspection documentation in accordance with SOPs, WIs and GMP (CFRs).
• Interface with engineers on new product development, inspections and non-conformance results.
