Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Westfield, Indiana, seeks an IQA Inspector to inspect incoming components, raw materials, IFUs, packaging and labeling. You’ll work on first article inspections and align supplier results with AVI data.

The role requires a high school diploma and about two years in inspection, with the position operating on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

• Two years' experience working in inspection, or related field.

• Correlate supplier’s first article inspection report with AVI first article inspection results.

• Interface with engineers on new product development, inspections and non-conformance results.

The Opportunity

This position works out of our Westfield, Indiana location in the Structural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.

As the IQA Inspector, you will be responsible for the inspection of incoming components (i.e. plastics, metals, extrusions, and tubing), raw material, information for use (IFUs), package, and labeling.

Shift:

2nd Shift Schedule Monday- Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
