Job summary

MSR-FSR is seeking entry-level IQ Technicians to join our onsite team in New Mexico. You will install support equipment for semiconductor systems, including pumps, chillers and abatement units, and assist with electrical tasks while maintaining thorough records.

Candidates should have basic mechanical and electrical experience, a strong work ethic, and a high school diploma. Training and progression opportunities are available in a fast-paced environment with safety credentials to access

Qualifications

• 0+ year of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment; some experience preferred.
• Excellent customer interface skills are required.
• Understanding of electricity and experience with use of a digital multimeter is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use appropriate tools.
• High School Diploma is required and willingness to work a compressed work week (10% night shift differential applies if a night shift).

Responsibilities

Entry Level IQ Technicians Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations of support equipment for semiconductor equipment
• Includes installation of pumps, chillers and abatement units with hardware piping and some electrical
• Maintains records and reports as required
• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers
• Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company property, tools, etc.
• Employees must also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to customers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s)

Entry Level IQ Technicians Qualifications:

• 0+ year previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment, but some expereince is preferred
• Excellent customer interface skills is required
• An understanding of electricity and experience with use for a digital multimeter is required
• Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools
• Thorough understanding of technical issues involving the maintenance, repair and/or installation of company equipment and company procedures are required
• High School Diploma
• Must be willing to work a compressed work week (10% night shift differential applies if a night shift)

• Additional remarks regarding work environment: Chemical hazards are primarily mitigated through engineering controls, but some uncontrolled chemicals from incidental spills requiring cleanup evaluation may require use of respirator and other PPE.
• You must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators.
• Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.
