Hospice of the Piedmont, Inc. is seeking an RN to provide direct nursing care in the IPU, coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team and supporting patients and families in their hospice journey.
Responsibilities include symptom management, patient assessments, documentation, care planning, patient and family education, and supervising CNA services for assigned patients. Typical day involves ~6 patients per nurse and collaboration with on-site medical providers.
Work Schedule: any day of the week; minimum requirement of two shifts every 4 weeks.
This position provides direct nursing care to patients in the IPU, their families, interdisciplinary group management, coordination of patient and family services, and evaluation of appropriate hospice care through development of the Hospice plan of care.
