Job summary

Total Safety is seeking an IPSC Technician III in Texas City to inspect, test, and maintain safety equipment for customers. The role interfaces with clients, performs basic to intermediate troubleshooting, and supports staging and delivery of equipment in a plant environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of field experience in related industries, with strong safety adherence and ability to obtain new certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry.
• Proficient in issuing, receiving, tracking, inspecting equipment using company/customer provided software and providing basic reports.
• Able to effectively communicate with others and build rapport with customers quickly.
• Must work safely and adhere to all TSUS & customer policies and procedures.
• Able to obtain new certifications quickly based on customers' changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Able to perform basic to intermediate troubleshooting.
• Works with others in facility stocking shelves with clean, tested, and ready to use equipment and pulling, staging, and loading customer orders onto trucks for delivery.
• Maintains work area and other areas in a clean and orderly condition.

Description

Total Safety is looking for anIPSC Technician III to join their safety conscious team! The IPSC Technician III works under the direction of a supervisor in a plant environment and provides a variety of services which may include inspection, testing, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of customer owned or TSUS equipment. Interfaces with customers on a regular basis.

Educational Requirements:

High School diploma or GED. Associates degree, technical or military training strongly preferred.
