Job summary

Total Safety is seeking an IPSC Technician II to work under a supervisor in a plant environment, performing inspection, testing, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of customer-owned or TSUS equipment. Interfaces with customers regularly, adhering to safety policies and procedures.

The role involves routine equipment handling, documentation, and the possibility of quick certification upgrades as client environments change.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry.
• Proficient in issuing, receiving, tracking, inspecting equipment using company/customer provided software and providing basic reports.
• Able to obtain new certifications quickly based on customers' changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, tests, and maintains safety equipment per manufacturer's requirements and documents service according to TSUS/customer policies and procedures.
• Able to perform basic to intermediate troubleshooting.
• Works with others in facility stocking shelves with clean, tested, and ready to use equipment and pulling, staging, and loading customer orders onto trucks for delivery.
• Maintains work area and other areas in a clean and orderly condition.

Total Safety is looking for anIPSC Technician II to join their safety conscious team! The IPSC Technician II works under the direction of a supervisor in a plant environment and provides a variety of services which may include inspection, testing, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of customer owned or TSUS equipment. Interfaces with customers regularly.

Essential Duties

Working Environment

Plant environment. May be frequently exposed to wet, humid, outside weather conditions and vibration. Works in customer environments. May be exposed to high pressure, chemicals, and plant traffic. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Educational Requirements

High School diploma or GED. Associates degree, technical or military training strongly preferred.
