Total Safety is seeking an IPSC Technician to join their safety-conscious team. The technician works under supervision in a plant environment, providing services such as inspection, testing, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of customer-owned or TSUS equipment. Regular interaction with customers is expected.

Essential Duties:
  • Learn to inspect, test, and maintain safety equipment according to manufacturer and TSUS/customer policies, documenting services accordingly.
  • Assist in facility operations, including stocking shelves with tested, ready-to-use equipment and managing customer orders for delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Learn to issue, receive, track, and inspect equipment using company/customer software.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and build rapport with customers.
  • Adhere to all safety and policy guidelines.
Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum six months of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery, or related industries. An associate degree, technical, or military training is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance, a safe driving record, and insurability for company vehicle insurance.
  • Forklift experience is preferred; must pass internal forklift certification.
  • Ability to obtain at least one manufacturer's certification within six months of employment.
  • Proficiency in PPE use and safety procedures; may require respiratory protection training and certification.
Working Environment:

Work primarily in plant environments, often exposed to wet, humid, outdoor conditions, vibration, chemicals, and plant traffic. Noise levels are typically moderate.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
