Job summary

Riveron is seeking a Director in Capital Markets Services (Accounting Advisory) to lead IPO and de-SPAC engagements, guiding clients through readiness, execution and transition to life as a public company. You’ll coordinate tax, FP&A, internal controls, and US GAAP aspects with senior executives and external advisers.

You will develop engagement plans, mentor teams, foster client relationships, and identify opportunities for Riveron’s growth in the capital markets ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, accounting advisory, transactions or consulting.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience leading complex engagements with CFOs and senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex IPO, capital markets and accounting advisory engagements for CFOs and senior leaders.
• Own IPO and capital markets engagements from readiness through life as a public company.
• Lead readiness assessments and translate findings into execution plans, priorities and timelines.
• Coordinate accounting workstreams for filings (S-1, S-4) and other capital markets activities.
• Guide clients through changes to operate as a public company, including close and reporting calendars.
• Mentor team members and contribute to leadership development.
