Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled Engineering Technician 2 to perform production assembly on electronic and mechanical subassemblies at our Plymouth, MN site. You will read diagrams and drawings, assemble modules, boards, panels, frames and cables using precision tools, and conduct quality checks.

Travel up to 10% is expected. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience and IPC J-STD-001 certification.

Formación

• IPC J-STD-001 Certification.
• Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and communicate within a team.

Responsabilidades

• Production assembly: perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on complex electronic and electro-mechanical subassemblies.
• Drawing navigation: work from engineering diagrams, technical drawings, and initial layouts.
• Quality: conduct continuity checks and quality inspections on in-process and finished work.
• Re-work: disassemble, modify, re-work, re-assemble, and test assemblies under simulated conditions.
