Job summary

Dover Corporation's Microwave Products Group is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to verify that incoming, in-process, and final components comply with specifications and customer requirements. The role supports IPC-A-610 certification, quality engineers, and cross-functional teams in pursuit of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include preparing inspection records, participating in source inspections, and contributing to corrective actions and problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment with mechanical, electrical or technical focus.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 standards, Lean Principles and quality tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to communicate clearly in verbal and written form.
• Able to effectively interact with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Inspects incoming, in-process, and final components and products for conformance to specifications.
• Performs visual inspection, mechanical measurements, and selected electrical measurements.
• Maintains IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Specialist certification.
• Reviews customer purchase order requirements and specifications to ensure actions meet requirements.
• Provides feedback to leadership regarding non-conforming product and documentation.
• Supports quality engineers and participates in cross-functional problem solving.
• Prepares First Article Inspection reports and participates in internal audits.
• Assists with disposition and corrective actions for customer returns.
