Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an IPA Consultative Coder to collaborate with providers and clinic teams to enhance documentation accuracy and coding effectiveness.

You will deliver coding and documentation education within IPA clinics, serve as a consultative resource, and perform quarterly chart reviews to support accuracy and completeness. This full-time role requires 40 hours weekly and a willingness to work in assigned markets within Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of risk adjustment medical coding experience.
• CCS, CRC or CPC certification required.
• Must live within 50 miles of assigned market.

As an IPA Consultative Coder, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care in the communities we serve.

In this role, you will work closely with providers and clinic teams to enhance documentation accuracy, identify opportunities for improvement, and reinforce coding and documentation best practices.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$59,300 - $80,900 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
