General Purpose

Provide direct wound assessments and daily care, create treatment plans to prevent further issues.

Essential Job Functions
  • Perform wound assessment, management, and reassessment.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered.
  • Ensure adequate supplies and report needs.
  • Deliver and maintain quality resident care.
  • Make rounds with physicians as needed.
  • Review resident charts for treatments, medication, diets.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disorders of relevant systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of wound staging systems.
  • Develop skin care programs to prevent breakdown.
  • Coordinate and supervise patient care.
  • Ensure documentation meets current standards.
  • Assist in emergency evacuations.
  • Work shifts as needed, including rotating on-call.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
