Job summary

Kids for the Future in Avondale, AZ is seeking an entry-level IPV Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot IP video systems under supervision. You will perform routine tasks and build foundational knowledge of video surveillance, networking, and customer support.

You will be responsible for safe site work, documentation, site visits, and collaboration with project teams. Travel up to 50% may be required, with opportunities to grow in security technologies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 certification and equipment-operator certifications preferred.
• Certifications in Bosch, Genetec, Corning, or BICSI are a plus.
• Basic understanding of IP networking concepts is expected.
• Ability to interpret simple schematics, diagrams, and drawings.
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure basic IP cameras, NVRs, and related hardware.
• Perform routine system maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and connectivity issues.
• Document installation activities and maintenance records.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians as needed.
• Provide user support and basic training.
