Job summary

Camco Manufacturing seeks an Intellectual Property Manager to lead the company’s IP strategy, protect patents, trademarks, and trade secrets, and maximize asset value. You will partner with product, engineering, and legal teams to embed IP protections in development and to manage NDAs and licenses.

You will drive risk management, contract reviews, and compliance across the business, ensuring proper protection of innovations from our Greensboro HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, law or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and licensing.
• Experience reviewing contracts and NDAs related to product development or technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an IP strategy to protect and maximize company assets.
• Identify, document, and manage IP assets including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and designs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing and operations to embed IP protections early in development.
• Review NDAs, licensing agreements, and contracts related to IP and product development.
• Provide guidance on risk management, compliance, and IP enforcement.
