Candidates should have a JD, a PhD in Chemistry (organic preferred), USPTO admission, and a track record in pharma/biotech patent work.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• PhD in Chemistry (Organic preferred).
• 3–5 years of post‑JD experience in patent prosecution and litigation.
• Experience in chemistry, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Admission to practice before the USPTO.
• Licensed to practice in the state(s) where based (MA, NY, CA, CO or DC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Work on cutting‑edge patent prosecution and litigation matters with a team of attorneys.
• Contribute to patent portfolio management and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate across offices in Boston, Denver, New York, Palo Alto or Washington, DC.
• Submit and review transcripts and supporting documents as part of application process.
