Job summary

Alston & Bird LLP is seeking an Assistant IP Practice Manager to oversee the operational management of a dynamic, multi-office Intellectual Property practice. You will partner with practice leadership to drive strategic initiatives, improve workflows, and enhance service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes training, technology initiatives, centralized resources, and metrics reporting, with cross-office collaboration to ensure consistent processes and high-quality client

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years in operations, project management, or legal practice management (IP exp preferred).
Experience supporting process improvement, workflow optimization, or technology implementation preferred.
Strong project management, analytical mindset, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support execution of practice-wide priorities and initiatives.
Assist in training programs and onboarding processes.
Coordinate technology initiatives with IT and leadership.
Maintain centralized resources: templates, playbooks, best practices.
Track operational metrics and support reporting efforts.
Facilitate cross-office communication and coordination.
Assist with workflow management and scheduling.
