Job summary

Fox Rothschild is seeking an Intellectual Property Patent Associate for multiple offices. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of patent drafting and prosecution experience.

Qualified applicants hold a J.D. and USPTO registration; a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field (graduate degree a plus) and must be licensed to practice in the state of employment. You will handle U.S. provisional, utility, and international patent filings.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of patent drafting and prosecution experience.
• Juris Doctorate (JD) and USPTO registration required.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field; graduate degree a plus.
• Must be licensed to practice in the state of employment.
• Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience preparing and prosecuting U.S. provisional, utility, and international patent applications; patentability opinions; and portfolio planning.
