BCG Attorney Search is representing a prominent law firm seeking a lateral Associate specializing in IP and Patent Litigation in Washington, D.C. The role offers a hybrid work model with flexibility in office attendance and opportunities to handle high-stakes patent disputes.

The ideal candidate holds a JD with a U.S. license and 3–5 years of IP litigation experience, strong technical background, and stellar academic credentials, with exposure to trial strategy and appellate advocacy.

Qualifications

• JD and active attorney license in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Eligibility to waive into the D.C. Bar or sit for the D.C. bar exam.
• 3–5 years of experience in patent and/or IP litigation.
• Strong foundation in IP and patent law.
• Stellar academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Engage in high‑stakes IP litigation across various courts and tribunals.
• Collaborate with nationally recognized IP litigators.
• Participate in trial strategy and appellate advocacy.
• Handle substantive work and client interactions.
