EMERGE partners with a nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm to hire an experienced IP Litigation Specialist in Houston. You will support attorneys from discovery through trial, manage case files and discovery, and assist with filings and depositions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, including litigation support.
• Strong litigation background; IP litigation experience preferred.
• Experience drafting, formatting, proofreading and filing litigation documents.
• Familiarity with electronic discovery, document review platforms, and litigation databases.
• Experience assisting with document productions, discovery management and calendar/docketing.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive litigation support to IP and related matters.
• Maintain case files, dockets, and electronic document management systems.
• Draft, format, proofread, and finalize litigation documents and correspondence.
• Transmit legal documents to clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Assist with electronic filings and ensure compliance with filing requirements.
• Support electronic discovery, organize documents, and manage review databases.
• Assist attorneys with drafting search queries and document review projects.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Handle new matter intake, conflict checks, file openings, and engagement letters.
• Coordinate attorney calendars and travel; track continuing legal education.
• Maintain records of billable work and meet annual billing target of 750 hours.
