Job summary

WilmerHale is seeking associates with 3–5 years post-JD experience for our Intellectual Property Litigation practice. Positions can be located in New York, Boston, Denver, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, or other offices.

The successful candidates will have a JD, be licensed in the relevant jurisdiction, and exhibit excellent writing and analytical abilities. A technical background in EE/CS is preferred; inter partes review/ITC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required and licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Take/defend depositions and manage motion practice.
• Conduct written discovery and expert discovery.
• Draft pleadings and motions; handle inter partes review or ITC proceedings a plus.

• Taking/defending depositions and motion practice.
• Conducting written discovery, expert discovery, drafting pleadings and motions.
• Inter partes review and/or ITC proceedings a plus.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor
• Attorney must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred. Equivalent industry experience in these disciplines a plus.
• Successful candidates will have excellent writing skills, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to positively contribute to a collaborative work environment.
