Jobot is seeking an IP Litigation Attorney for its Frisco, TX office. This on-site, permanent role requires at least 5 years of IP litigation experience and admission to the Patent Bar. You will handle complex patent, trademark, and copyright disputes, draft agreements, provide legal guidance, and coordinate with a team of attorneys and paralegals.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of IP litigation experience.
• Admission to the Patent Bar is required.
• Proven track record of litigating complex IP cases.
• In-depth knowledge of patent, copyright, and trademark law.

Responsibilities

We are on the hunt for a dynamic, dedicated, and detail-oriented IP Litigation Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. The successful candidate will be integral in handling complex intellectual property disputes, including patent infringement and trademark cases. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile, high-stakes IP cases, providing legal guidance and support to our diverse clientele. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all facets of intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, and copyright infringement cases.
• Draft and negotiate complex IP agreements and contracts.
• Provide legal advice on IP rights, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Conduct thorough research to support legal proceedings and to provide legal advice.
• Develop strategies for managing and protecting intellectual property assets.
• Prepare and file legal documents such as lawsuits, appeals, and motions.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
• Coordinate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants, and liaise with experts to prepare for trial.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations related to intellectual property.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other proceedings as required.

Qualifications

• Admission to the Patent Bar is required.
• Proven track record of successfully litigating complex IP cases.
• In-depth knowledge of patent, copyright, and trademark law.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with a keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and mediation skills.
