Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Kansas City, MO seeks an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join its office. The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced litigators on patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, and trade secret matters.

You will manage discovery, take and defend depositions, analyze patents and prior art, draft claim charts and motions, and assist in hearings and trials, working across diverse IP matters in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IP litigation or complex federal court litigation experience.
• Excellent research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task efficiently.
• Licensed to practice law in Missouri or able to become licensed in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Manage ESI collection and production.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Analyze patents and prior art.
• Draft claim charts and substantive motions.
• Collaborate on expert reports.
• Prepare for and assist in hearings and trials.
