Job summary

Dorsey & Whitney LLP seeks an Intellectual Property Docketing Operations Supervisor to lead a multi-office IP docket team in Denver, CO and other locations. You will guide daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure deadlines and data integrity across the docketing system.

You will collaborate with managers, attorneys, vendors, and IT to refine processes, implement improvements, and maintain compliance. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of comprehensive docketing experience.
• Experience with IP docket database software; FoundationIP preferred.
• Knowledge of IP law databases and USPTO systems.
• Ability to train and coach others and present training materials.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day IP docketing operations and respond to inquiries.
• Ensure all deadlines in the IP docket database are met by end of business day.
• Oversee workflow of docket personnel and provide performance feedback.
• Coordinate staffing with the IP Docketing Manager to balance workload.
• Train docket personnel on policies, procedures and usage of the docket database.
• Maintain data integrity and troubleshoot docket management issues.
